Water District

The Perry Center Water District was formed in 2000. It provides potable water and hydrant service to 75 parcels along NYS Route 246 and US Route 20A in Perry Center, NY. Maintenance Fees are charged to all accounts with a connection to the water line, irrelevant of whether the water is turned on or off at the curb.

Meters are read quarterly, in the months of March, June, September and December. Bills are sent to property owners of all private or tenant occupied buildings and it is their responsibility for collection of such bills. Users have 30 days from the date of mailing in which to pay their bills.

All unpaid bills are subject to a 10% late fee and subject to termination if the bill remains unpaid. A $25.00 charge for resumption of service is required for all terminated accounts, plus any applicable overtime charges.

Payment arrangements may be made with the Town Clerk. However, if the terms of the arrangement are not followed, service will be terminated within 3 days.
